For more than four decades CUB Campers, an Australian-owned family company, has been a household name throughout Australia. With the benefit of wisdom, experience and an ongoing product improvement policy, CUB has developed a Camping Trailer range that is among the best in the world.
A unique feature of all Cub Campers is the inbuilt Annexe and solid floor which is included in the price and does not cost extra as with many other campers. In just 30 seconds not only is the camper set up but so is the annexe.
Cub Ezy Wind System
This revolutionary system invented by and exclusive to CUB allows the camper to be opened in seconds by effortlessly winding a handle. Closing the camper is simply achieved by winding the handle in the opposite direction.
Customers who are elderly or have a disability are able to open and close the campers with ease. Much of CUB Campers' popularity is undoubtedly derived from their user friendliness.
CUB Campers are light to tow, and simple to set up! it's as easy as winding a handle! A very important feature of all Cub touring models is their light ball weight (25-39 kg) which is so crucial for many cars.
The Supamatic, released in 1984, was a larger version of the Cubomatic, and similar in size to the Cubonda (1973). The original layout was two single beds with a double bed conversion. A portable kitchen and a fridge were added later. In 1992 the LX Supamatic was released. This model was wider, to enable the 6 foot 2 inch bed to go across the width, thereby allowing space for a full kitchen and fridge.
In 2000 CUB introduced the Ezy-wind system. By offering this easy alternative to the manual-lift opening of the camper, CUB made it possible for people of all ages and strengths to enjoy the camper experience. The release in 2008 of the Supamatic XTD range has continued to be a real winner. The latest release models ensure that the Supamatic will continue to be one of our most popular campers.
